Historic inns Progressive Holiday Dinner Weekend

THE FISH CREEK HISTORIC INNS PROGRESSIVE HOLIDAY DINNER WEEKENDS are hosted by the White Gull and Thorp House Inns. Three are scheduled for the weekends of Friday and Saturday, December 1 & 2, December 8 & 9, and December 15 & 16, 2023. A fourth Holiday Dinner Weekend is scheduled for the weekend of January 5 & 6, 2024. The Thorp House and White Gull are planning memorable weekend packages.

We start Friday evening with a wine and hors d’oeuvre reception at each inn, bedecked festively for the holiday season. The weekend culminates Saturday evening with a horse drawn carriage ride to the Thorp House inn for live music and a champagne toast, followed by a four-course dinner at the White Gull Inn.

DINNER GUESTS will be seated by party at intervals between 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm. The 128-year-old White Gull is the oldest continuing operating inn in Door County and has received national critical acclaim for both its historic accommodations and award-winning restaurant.  Innkeepers Meredith and Chris Coulson-Kanter and their staff will serve the soup, salad, entrée, and dessert, with wine pairings, all to the accompaniment of a live harpist.

THE HOLIDAY DINNERS are open to weekend guests of either the White Gull or Thorp House Inn.

THE WHITE GULL INN packages include two nights lodging, a horse drawn carriage ride, complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvre reception Friday evening, the dinner on Saturday evening, full breakfast each morning, and complimentary hot beverages and cookies on Saturday afternoon.  The package price is the regular rate of the room or cottage plus $135/person.  Two night minimum.  Sixty day cancellation notice required.
