Covid-19 Precautions

Restaurant

We do not require masks outdoors or for fully vaccinated guests anywhere in the restaurant. All employees who are able to be vaccinated have been, but some have chosen to continue wearing masks for their own safety. Your server will happily wear a mask if that would make you more comfortable dining with us.

All inquiries are welcome to enter the front door. We have plexiglass shields in place on our front desk for your safety. Restaurant guests should check in at the host station on the side patio next to the green coffee bar cart.

We have reduced our dining room capacity by 25% and moved those tables to our patio to reduce crowding. We are offering outdoor seating on the patio for breakfast in addition to lunch and candlelight dinner, which means the patio is not available as a waiting area. You may still purchase coffee, juice, and coffeecake from the outdoor coffee bar while waiting for your table, and we encourage you o take a stroll around town or relax at Sunset Park until your table is ready.

To allow our guests to have space on the patio to watch the fish boil preparations, we are not offering outdoor dining for fish boils. We have eliminated the buffet line at fish boils, so all food will be served to you from the kitchen by your server.

There are hand sanitizer stations outside every door and we are following all industry recommendations for sanitizing surfaces between guests.

Hotel

We do not require masks outdoors or for fully vaccinated guests anywhere in the restaurant. All employees who are able to be vaccinated have been, but some have chosen to continue wearing masks for their own safety. Your server will happily wear a mask if that would make you more comfortable dining with us.

We recognize that your hotel room is your home away from home while you are in Door County, and we want you to feel safe there. For this reason, we will not enter your room during your stay. For multiple-day stays, our housekeepers will collect any dirty linens you have from outside your door before noon and refresh any amenities you may need based on a checklist provided.

We have plexiglass shields on our front desk, and room keys and pens are sanitized prior to your check-in. All rooms are deep cleaned between stays. A manager performs an inspection and does a final sanitizing of high-touch surfaces prior to your check-in.

We are still providing morning coffee delivery service, and as always, a full breakfast is included in your stay. Because we have a limited number of tables, signing up for a time slot with your preference for indoor or outdoor dining in advance is crucial to avoid having to wait for your breakfast.

Visitor guide books have been removed from the rooms, but they are available by request at the front desk. Please do not hesitate to ask if you would like maps, guidebooks, or recommendations on what to do during your stay. We do recommend calling ahead to businesses you rplan to visit if you have questions about their COVID-19 protocols.
